Time to switch hotel loyalty. Does MR comp?
Does anyone know if Marriott Rewards comp Platinum based on my having reached top levels are competing hotels?
I've been quite disillusioned at some of my loyal hotel chains lately and would like to switch loyalty.
Any input would be appreciated.

I have been told (no personal experience) that Marriott will not comp Platinum. That is due, in part, to the fact that Platinum requires 75 nights a year, most others require much less for their "top" levels.
However, I *think* I remember hearing about the equivalent of a "challenge" opportunity under certain circumstances.

Before you come walking blindly into the Marriott fold, read the rest of these threads regarding satisfaction, in particular, the "primer for Lynne...."
