Reward Certificates
Just to let you know the problems are still ongoing with the old point system vs. the new point system. I have spent numerous time on the phone trying to work it out and many times have to defer to a supervisor. You can still request awards using the old system, but you must be forceful with the staff. My suggestion is to call directly instead of booking your award online.

Unless you are talking about the old 713 awards (where you need to speak directly to an agent to arrange the air miles transfer), booking under any of the old award #s is much simpler on line.... simply enter the appropriate code number and you are done. I did it last week for a weekend stay at the Marriott Marquis under the old #702 code and had no problems- certificate issued quickly under the old schedule (saved 10,000 points as well- award was 55k, now 65k).

I ordered a 714 award in May and a 713 last week and had no problems getting in done with the reps. Never had to get a supervisor to help.
