Ideas for earning 5K Marriott points
I typically do not stay at Marriotts but need to earn 5K more. I can't do it by applying for their credit card. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks!

Sign up for their Visa promotion and stay two stays paying with Visa. You get double points. Should be info on the web at www.marriottrewards.com

Do you have any Amex, Diner's or AT&T points you can convert? Does your spouse have any points or can she apply for the card and then combine accounts? Or you can actually buy points - up to 10% of the value of the award? I know I've seen some other partners like E-Trade, etc, but I don't know any of the details.
