Using Freeride/Marriott Certificates

My husband and I have accumulated a number of $20 Marriot certificates from Freeride. Will there be any problem redeeming them en masse?

If my experience is any guide, you're good to go. I used five of these certificates to help pay for a recent stay at the Renaissance in Manhattan and there was no problem.

Have a great stay.

Thanks for the info, TravelDave. Between my husband and I, we have 7 certificates. So I guess we'll be getting a very good deal.

I too have used these many times with as much as three at once with no problem. they are treated like a cash credit to your payment.

Your husband also has an account? I thought it was one per address? Is this so? Anyone know or have difficulties?

Many of the larger Freeride offers are one per household, but Destination Points can be earned by both of us. We've never had any problems--wish I could say the same for Mypoints.

Doc, if these are treated as a cash credit, then can I assume one will receive points for the total bill?

Yes, that's been my experience and that's one reason why I like them!
