Interesting write up. Surprised only 30% of reservations are made via the internet. 100% of mine are done online.

It would make sense to me if only 30% are coming from Marriott's own websites, phone apps, etc. So many people (non-FTers who don't care or don't know they won't earn points / miles) use third-party sites. And then there's those business travelers who book through corporate sites.

Picture #8 claims to be the lobby of the Ren St Pancras. It is actually the bar and restaurant located behind reception, right? The lobby has much higher ceilings.
