Marriott CC
Me & Spouse signed up Marriott CC - we both got it approved and got the bonuses.
Clock is ticking and will be charged with the annual fee.
What are some good strategy with these cards, including closing it.
We use Fidelity 2% card regularly.
Do they have no fee cards - how can you change to one it? But we have two Marriott CCs!
Appreciate tips.

personally I think this card is worth the annual fee for the cat 4 (and subsequent cat 5) annual certificates.
I have found cat 4 free nights worth $250 (Asia) and Cat 5 over $300 (Europe) but YMMV.
If you really want to close it, you can apply for a new Chase card (whatever fits your needs) and offer to transfer some of the credit limit from your Marriott cards.
This will limit their exposure and make it more likely they will approve multiple Chase cards.
Then close the Marriott card after you have been approved for the new Chase card.

The free cert pays for the annual fee in itself
