Earnings Preference
At what point is your earnings preference determined for a particular stay?
I saw this morning before my checkout my preference was air miles, when I wanted points. I changed before checkout but not sure if I will get points instead of miles.

I was able to ask the front desk attendant to change to points. Don't know if she refreshed my profile data or just changed the earnings preference. i'll know in a few days

I think it is the time that the points/miles hit your account!! Even then you can try a call to the CS desk to change it within a couple of days!!
