LNf eligibility question

On Marriott.com I see a property for $900 a night for my 3 night stay. On kayak it is $200 a night.

Would this qualify and essentially give me a free room?

Thanks in advance, quick replies very much appreciated (before something changes!)

You'd need to click though the Kayak link and see what the underlying travel site is offering; Kayak is a consolidator of travel sites, not a travel site itself. It needs to match up in all particulars (refundable vs nonrefundable, bed size, room type, breakfast included, etc).

Even if it was valid, you wouldn't be getting it for free. It's 25 percent off of the lower price. So, if it's successful, it would be $150/night. Not $900 a night obviously, but also not free.

Try IHG.com BRG if you want a free night.

Furthermore it actually has to exist at the underlying site! I've seen numerous cases where Kayak was showing a great rate only to find that no such rate existed (any more?) at the site that Kayak claimed to have found it at.

I've even had cases where I've come back to Kayak a day or two later, and still have seen such bogus "stale" rates that don't actually exist at any underlying site.

Can the OP provide details such as Marriott property, dates etc... and the comparison Kayak link?
