A big thanks to FlyerTalk

Just wanted to throw a big "Thank You" out to the members of this board. In the last 2 days I got upgraded to Platinum retroactively from an 18 night stay in June (which will get me the 50% bonus on my points from my current 50-night stay), retroactive credit for the Summer Megabonus (40,000), and 20,000 extra points for the Marriott Visa sign-up bonus.

So thanks!

Congrats. Did they let you retroactively start the challenge? I attempted to do the same and was told no. I will qualify anyway but had an 8 night stay in June that would have helped me get there sooner.

Ya, they not only let me retroactively apply, but gave me the 40k points which was not a bonus I was opted for.

Having 60 nights in the promotion period my have helped though.

And sharing info so FTers can learn/earn is one of the reasons I love FT. Glad it's all worked out for you. Look forward to your contributing & paying it forward as well.

Cheers.

From airline miles, to learning how to get an upgrade to First Class to Hawaii, to the extra Marriott points and free nights FlyerTalk has saved me many thousands of dollars. ^
