Marriott is back on Bigcrumbs
4% back for gift cards and completed stays. They had been missing for a while. I think this is the highest cashback out there for Marriott.
If you doubledip (i.e. buy a gift card, then use the gift card to pay for the completed stay) you are looking at 8% back. Not bad IMHO.

Not bad at all. Thanks OP. Looks like many cash back sites offer between 1-4% cash back according to cashreporter:

If you go to their site and buy a gift card you get 4%. Then if you book your hotel thru their site and complete a stay you would get a second 4%. You can still use you credit card to get points, miles, or cashback for the original gift card purchase. With a Marriott card it will earn points the same as if you are using it at a hotel since you are buying the gift card from the marriott website. You will just be getting them earlier.

I have read a few other post that people are having problems with $ showing up in their account after a Marriott purchase. Does anyone know if this has been resolved?
Also, I have several Marriott stay coming up that are LNF rates which is a pain to cancel and go through that all again just to book through the BigCrumbs portal. If I make a change to my reservation, will that be enough to get me the credit or does it have to be a brand new reservation?

I did the gift card purchase in early December and just got my money a couple weeks ago. It does work... but takes a lot of time. I also did several hotels stays and got the dough for those quicker than the gift card deal.

I think LNF rates are generally non-commissionable, which I interpret to mean no cashback. However, I am batting about 50% with getting cash back on them anyway.
I had the same problem with the gift cards...took forever for the cash back; the stays, on the other hand, always credit correctly.

I used BC last year for a $1000 GC purchase as well as booked 2 additional stays. I received $40 cashback for the GC purchase aftter opening a ticket but never received any cashback for the actual stays. BC followed up with Marriott but they are just pathetic in responding.
Last month I saw shopathome offering 4% for GC purchases and 3% for stays. I have since booked and stayed over 5 times but no cashback as yet. For the giftcards, I bought 4 x $250 giftcards but all I got was $7.50 calculated at 3% for a single $250 purchase. I opened a ticket with shopathome a week ago but no response as yet other than the autogenerated email - not even an email from their customer service asking for proof of purchase/screenshots, etc.
IMO, this is just way too much hassle to get absolutely nothing at the end of it. Not sure if these sites are unreliable or Marriott is.

None of my Marriott stays booked through either Big Crumbs or eBates have ever posted a single penny in rebates to me.
