Redeem Points, Get 5,000 Points
I received a card a couple of days ago. If I redeem any points through any way with Marriott, I earn 5,000 points. I think this expires 12/31/10. I'm sorry, but, I can't find the card on my desk right now. I was wondering if this is a targeted offer? I haven't redeemed anything with them for several years. It arrived just in the nick of time. We are driving to MI for Thanksgiving and needed a night along the route. I found a Courtyard for 10,000 points.

That sounds like a targeted offer to get you to spend your points (and be more engaged with the program).
