Cool marriott.com updates
It looks like some improvements were made on the marriot.com website recently. I was searching around for a place to go in Miami and was looking at the new JW there. I may be wrong - but I dont recall the photo design to be that strong before when I was looking at a hotel detail page - I checked a couple of other hotels and they looked different too. I like the look - nice job Marriott! http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...marquis-miami/

They've also put in more ads, or at least larger ones. Specifically when you select a room/rate to book.

Not a fan of the new format - not even close
Personally, I'm a "simpler is better" and "worthless 'pretty graphics' slow my navigation and search".
Too bad the marriott.com designers think having larger photos as background graphics in the selection buttons is useful. I'd rather have the text information - these mods are more fluff than stuff.
Before, you could immediately get status on a property's MR level, cost of parking, etc. Now you have to poke around and hope to find the data you want.

I travel a lot in areas with slow internet. When I know my internet is slow I use the Marriott Mobile site. It isn't pretty but is fast.

I wish they would have left the parking rate information on the frontpage of each hotels page.
