Marriott Account Question

I received my cat 1-4 CC night a few months ago and have a reservation booked to use it in a couple weeks. I made the reservation a few weeks ago.

Today I noticed the following for my reward activity. Is this a new cat 1-4 night? Why is it listed twice? I am confused. Any help would be appreciated. I figure some of you know more about this stuff than the average Marriott I would get if I called Marriott directly!

Oct 24 10 34G VISA FREE NIGHT CATEGORY 4 0 pts Reward
Oct 24 10 34H VISA 1 FREE NIGHT CATEGORY 4 0 pts Reward

It certainly looks like you now have another free night e-cert. Are you by chance signed up for the latest Megabonus promo? And if so, what version were you offered? If you received the "every 2 stays get a free night cert" maybe that is where the 2nd e-cert came from.

If not the Megabonus, maybe you have another promo that you are a part of that gets you a free night cert. I think there other promos out there like the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...ee-nights.html.

I might suggest giving MR a call and see if they can give you some clues where the 2nd one came from.

I called MR to find out the deal. Like finding money in your pocket... apparently these were from a Visa spending deal a few months ago that I was not aware of.
