Ok, so I've been Platinum for 5 years or so now.

Reading this board I see over and over again people talking about this coupon or that certificate for this or that free night etc.. I have NEVER received any kind of coupon or certificate for anything....what am I missing?

Any reward rooms I book have always been e-certs.

I keep all my MR points in the MR program, don't move or affiliate to any airline program.

There are EEOs (Elite Exclusive Offers) that give a free weekend night at Marriott and Ren, most offen.

I know they used to send a booklet of actual tear-out coupons. Haven't seen one for a number of years. As noted, the offers should be available to you on-line, and you can print off and take with you. Usually includes BOGO at full service restaurants also. Various restrictions including resorts and international destinations.

Many people are also referring to the free night(s) one receives as a Marriott Visa holder, or the ones received as a part of a MegaBonus....if you have received any of these that are currently active, they will be found under thee "Unused Certificates" on the My Rewards Activity page of your MR account.

EEO's can also be found under "View Platinum Offers" in the Rewards Activity section of your account. New ones were just posted this week....

Be sure that you are registered to receive emails from Marriott, that they are not going to your SPAM folder....and that you are reading them when they arrive. We recently received an offer for a free CY night, and another for a SHS points bonus that (was enough to) redeem for a free night - all in addition to the current MegaBonus!
