Haven't stayed at either... But with the current SHS promo, maybe that makes it more worthwhile? I've a huge SHS bias though, I'm loving them right now.

I have stayed at both and they are located across the street from each other. SHS is my preference. Fairfield hassles you about leaving your car at the hotel when you go on a trip and doesn't offer free parking ($5.00/nt). SHS is just as nice and I can always leave my car there at no charge.

Thanks. We won't have a car. Just needing a place close to BNA to catch a 7a flight so our group doesn't have to get up early from downtown and bring us there.

Bump. Chose the Fairfield, checked in early at 11:45a and was upgraded. Shuttle Staff and Front Desk was very pleasant. Everything was clean and comfortable. Just what you need for a 1 night stay.
