Recommendations for Fort Worth

Debating between using points at the Fairfield versus SpringHill Suites in Fort Worth (I-30 and University). Any experiences? Hope this is the correct forum.

I can't comment on either property, but I have stayed at the RI that is between the CY and FF several times. My recollection is that it is a fine property. I think I stayed at the FF 5 or 6 years ago, but I can't remember any details of that stay.

In general, I'd pick a SS over a FF.

If you're in town for a weekend stay, my recent experience is that the Marriott properties over in Arlington are dramatically cheaper on weekends. They're probably a 20-minute drive from the University area.

FWIW, i just reserved the Springhill over there for the Sept 11 weekend. $150 a/i per night when i may have up to 6 staying (2 double beds and sofabed) doesn't seem bad at all, especially with breakfast included, on a TCU home game weekend
