LNF Reservations reset to Rack Rate?
I'm reviewing a bunch of future reservations that had been successfully adjusted to a LNF rate. Now, some of the reservations are mysteriously showing as rack rate.
This has been happening to me with about 20% of my LNF reservations lately. A few calls gets the problem fixed, but it is not making me happy. Has anyone else been having this issue?

I understand this problem stems from problems at the individual properties. It seems that some hotels are unfamiliar with the specific LNFG rate code, and sometimes this triggers the rate to be reset to rack rate. It shouldn't happen but it does.
The same problem seems to be responsible for the fact that at certain properties, stays with LNFG rates will fail to post in one's MR account. Again, if the property's system is not properly set up to recognize the LNFG rate code, neither the nights nor the points will be posted for that stay.
In yet other cases, it is impossible for the LNFG desk to adjust the rate, and, at the time of approval, one will get an email notification that the rate adjustment will be made pending the property's adding the appropriate rate code.
In case the rate resets to rack rate after approval, I usually send en email to the LNFG desk ([email protected]) and the problem is solved within hours.
