Worthwhile checking all the codes...
Which seem to be all over the place!
Upcoming stay in South FLA :
Ren Boca: WKD rate came up at $179; but the AAA rate was $135. However, the PKG rate brought up a different AAA rate of $119 with no other "package" component. Least expensive PKG with Breakfast was $179 - must be a fabulous breakfast....
the AAA rate at CY Lauderdale East was $159 w/ no breakfast; but PKG resulted in a "HOT AAA" rate of $89 where it was included.
Didn't bother filing a BRG, as they specifically eliminate any "membership" rates....but I found it interesting that lower AAA rates are coming up under a different code. In both cases, although they were available, MEB or M11 were substantially higher!
At Coral Springs Marriott, rate was $289; until used LPR which brought it down to $98...and there were no membership or identity requirements.
Ummm... 15 minutes saved us more than 15%!
(for those new to Marriott or this forum....see the sticky at the start of the forum for various rate codes which are not private, membership, or corporate specific)

Thanks for sharing. You prompted me to check my 3 hotels on my DC area trip the week of 1-11. No love here for any codes you listed.

No code works all the time in all markets...go down the entire list in the "sticky" until you find one that generates a good price.
Sometimes none of them do, or they require a component which I do not qualify for OR do not want. (like advance purchase) - but that is rare. Flexibility in where you can stay comes into play, too...but at least 80% of the time I am able to generate substantial savings by taking the time to check the codes.
The ones I listed were just examples....they worked for this trip, but at other times, nada.
It is also true that for some, the time spent isn't worth it - but it only takes me about 10 minutes to either find something, or to realize that I won't!
