Help anyone

i have a reservation in aruba from March 8th-March 15th. I used points for part of the stay and paid for part. i was going to do the all-inclusive for 70,000 pts and was told at the time of reservation to just call an they can add it.Well I called and they said they don't have any available. I guess i misunderstood previous posts and also the folks at Marriott. i thought I could at anytime request an all-inclusive for my stay, i didn't know they were limited or potentially not available.

Am I missing something. sorry for being a rookie
