I need to locate a Marriott property - preferably Residence Inn or Courtyard - that is northeast of Atlanta with easy access to I-85. I know how to go through the state directory and click on each property but is there a web that simply has a map of an area like this that would simplify my search? The Marriott web does give a map for greater Atlanta but I need to move close to the SC state line.

I think Atlanta Gwinnett RI is the last one going NE on I-85. I stayed there maybe 2 years ago and was not impressed as they were under construction. The Suwanee Courtyard looks old and the Courtyard at Buford is by a mall that should be crowded.

Update: Sorry, I just saw from another thread that all I had to do was enter "residence inn georgia" in a Google map search and got what I wanted.

There is also this map, which someone posted here on Flyertalk a few years ago. Not sure if it is still maintained, though.

m.com does give you an "along a route" option of selecting hotels

The Atlanta Perimeter North Courtyard is nice, and close to 85. It has the redesigned lobby. The rooms are in decent shape. I last stayed there in September.

Thanks for report on the Courtyard. I need to reach a little town not far from the SC border by 8:30 am so thought about trying out the Courtyard by the Buford Mall and hope there would not be a lot of traffic early in the morning going northeast.

The "along-the-route" feature mentioned by Socrates says this is the last Marriott property on this route until would reaches Anderson, SC which is too far the other side of my destination.
