Dates are 1-6 April - non moveable - cheap flights already booked on Easyjet
The M11 and M12 codes give nothing - all useful plat deals run out 28 Mar

Guess I could provisionally book the cash rate as well and just cancel whichever works out best or if a promo rate comes on which suits
AAA = American Automobile Association. I should have noticed the UK location in your profile.

However, I find that you sometimes need to follow up to claim credit, so make sure that you keep your receipts.

Sometimes the folks at the counter get confused, and don't know how to enter the checks. Tell them:

1) Enter them with code "GC", the same as gift cards
2) Enter the serial number from each gift cheque by hand into the computer, so that it gets voided
3) And tell them that you should still get points & elite night credit for the stay.

boomdog is exactly correct - so pls note (bolded by me) #2 - the numbers on these certs are quite long. it can be a lengthy proposition for the desk agent to get them all entered - especially if they are unfamiliar with them, have to call for assistance, then enter each one. Leave yourself sufficient time to check-out.....

In the US, an option is available to have the certs shipped overnight (which really means a couple days) - for all tiers but Plat there is a charge to do so.
For standard delivery, MR states 2 weeks.

For the UK, I would call MR and ask.

I am assuming you are have made (2) ressies? One for cash and one for points?

@ yorkshire exile. Please that M Prague will convert Marriott Gift Cheques (also auctioned on ebay!) into CZK at the hotels (unfavourable) exchange rate!

AAA = American Automobile Association

They have European affiliates such as ARC Europe, The Automobile Association in the United Kingdom.
