Marriott Execustay/Long Term Housing - Please Help

Has anyone ever tried long term corporate housing by Marriott?

Any help with possible promotions/suggestions would be very much appreciated.

thanks

Find the Execusty location you want on the web and call and ask to speak to someone in sales.

You can actually book them on-line now, but for long term, its best to talk to a real sales person and you can negotiate the rate. AFAIK its a 1-month minimum for Execustay.

In my experience, you negotiate by the night, but pre-pay by the month.

Tax laws will vary by state, but in most states there is a certain time limit after which it becomes "rent" rather than "lodging" and they will refund you all of the taxes you have paid up until that point.

I was able to get a very low rate, but they also cut the points, they gave me 2.5/pts per dollar, no plat bonus, and 1/3 night credits, in exchange for a low rate. I stayed an entire year.

Good luck and let us know how it works out.

Marriott Execustay

That's it: 2.5/pts per dollar, no bonus, and 1/3 night credits. They posted once a month for the dollars and nights in the previous month. It was depressing from a points perspective because I get about 20 points per dollar charged to my Marriott VISA. BUT I had a 14,000 sq. ft. apartment with an incredible view.
