Mlle_Mustard, I must have just missed u. I to was only given 1 wash rag but 2 towels,2 soap bars, lotion and shampoo & conditioner. The phones were highly outdated (that dirty misty yellow that u saw in grade school),1 didn't even work. No good tv stations.

Surprisingly the rm temp was set just right for me. Its good 4 a cheap mattress run. I did this 4 the *wood AMEX $40 promo. This hotel now has a 99 Rms for $99 from 9/1-5 (Labor Day Wknd). I reserved 4 9/2-3. Sep 3-4 was at its reg rate.

I agree with most of the previous posts. While it's not the trendiest property, it's a good value especially if you're paying out of pocket.

- right next to Logan Square and museums
- short walk to Rittenhouse Square area
- odd # rooms have great view all the way to Museum of Art and "Rocky Steps"
- lounge not open on weekends yet (but I did get a couple of breakfast vouchers)
- new fitness center opening later this year in December
- $5 overnight weekend parking garage right across 16th
- Herman Miller chair and red leather bench in room

I was just at this hotel for two nights and while the location is good, it is very understaffed. Some rooms are good, while others are missing drapes and light bulbs. While there has been a renovation there are parts of the hotel that are quite bad.

I called to talk with the GM about the problems--mostly staffing, and he was so rude...challenged me on the phone...just not very professional. Do yourself a favor, try another hotel...This is not Sheraton at their best.

Has the name of the hotel changed?

Is the name of this property now "Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel"?

I could not find any mention of a name change, but it is possible I missed it.

I could find nothing, Ironically, googling the new name, this property does not even show up on the google map

Thanks, William.

Moderators, could the thread title be updated, please?

Definitely a odd name change considering all of the costs associated with the change.

Not really; perhaps they wanted to avoid confusion with the Four Points by Sheraton City Center in Philadelphia.

The word order seems odd, though.

"Sheraton Hotel Downtown Philadelphia" would seem to me 'normal'.

Good Value for C&P

I'm here for 2800 points and $45 for two nights. The hotel is in a great location.

I got a room on 22nd floor.

Nothing spectacular but it's clean, with nicer bathroom than most Sheratons and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. TV is big. View is awesome. No weird smells.

The lounge on 26th floor is AWESOME good breakfast, attentive staff, free sodas and waters.

It's worth it for C&P option.

is this property doing double points? I stayed there on Sunday night for 1 night, and i received double points in my account...

With the new triple points promo this might be a good place to rack up some points

Did you use a corporate rate? I know that my corporate rate at this hotel has double points as a perk - but it doesnt say anything about it during the booking process.
