No resort fees at StR Bora Bora last I checked, or StR Maldives. It's a shame Marriott doesn't require an all in rate.

Lol, yes majority donít. I was just referencing that those properties that DO charge a resort fee, the rate is comparable to other properties of similar caliber. At least itís not as bad as Dorado Beach

Looks like they pulled points bookings for now. I wish I had have booked something.

I suspect the generous 2-day cancellation policy will be gone when the points bookings return.

I suspected this back #296. If it does indeed get adjusted, it will probably bump up to 30days.

cash bookings are available though

Also on the app, award bookings with cash upgrade are possible. This is confusing.

I think there is a new room category being introduced which will become the new base room. Potentially it's a beach villa?

That is also possible. It did seem awfully generous to book straight into a OWV, considering the amount of the people that tend to pay to upgrade to it from a "standard room"

Back at times it was still a Le Meridien, the Standard rooms (for point bookings) was technically a OWB; but at the very beginning of the pier, half over land; and water knee-deep. There were two of them in total.

Pretty open availability again for the OWV, same cancellation policy (2 days).
