I'm in the same boat. Will wait til next week and see if it's straightened out. Should have 4 stays/10 nights, but only have 2 stays/5 nights. Surely this isn't an unannounced change to the program....

Credit from both cards posted for me, now showing 4 stays and 10 nights. One posted 2 days ago the other one posted this morning.

Check now... stays/nights for my 2nd card posted within the last couple of hours for me.

apply onlinefor 20K points with $1000 spend (canada), got first statement, just see 10K points, call back CSR said they's 2 promo going at same time and they can't do anything

No problems here. I applied on-line Nov 2011. Struggled a bit with approval, as my bank was less than responsive in submitting the account docs AmEx wanted, but I got the 20k bonus points they promised. The bad news is that they created a new Starpoints account and deposited my points there instead of using my existing account, so now I'm awaiting a transfer from SPG.

for another year after the charge date - am I correct in my assumption ?

what is the requirement to get such an offer? Obviously its targeted but i havent stayed at starwood since July however for 4000 points i would book a room tonight if the rate is right.
