Credit from both cards posted for me, now showing 4 stays and 10 nights. One posted 2 days ago the other one posted this morning.

I'm in the same boat. Will wait til next week and see if it's straightened out. Should have 4 stays/10 nights, but only have 2 stays/5 nights. Surely this isn't an unannounced change to the program....

SPG stay -definition help
SPG has once again launched a rewarding returns promotion with the hope of getting back some guests who have not stayed at their hotels in awhile.
2,000 bonus Starpoints, or $25 Amazon Gift Card, or 25% off redemption certificate 2,000 bonus Starpoints, or $25 Award Certificate, or 25% off redemption certificate 4,000 bonus Starpoints, or $50 iTunes Gift Card, or 25% off redemption certificate To receive the selected offer you will need to complete one qualifying stay between January 1, 2012 and February 29, 2012. MY QUESTION : Does anyone know — Is a stay an actual stay? Or would a charge with an SPG card in a restaurant at a Starwood property qualify / meet the requirements for this bonus offer ? TIA:confused: |

Yes, you would actually have to complete an actual stay where eligible room revenue is part of the equation.
Nope. Best regards, William R. Sanders Social Media Specialist Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide [email protected] I believe that a Starwood restaurant charge does keep my SPG membership / card active for another year after the charge date - am I correct in my assumption ? Thanks again William |

A restaurant charge from a participating restaurant shows up as a stay transaction because it originates as being from a participating property, so it will keep an SPG account active.

what is the requirement to get such an offer? Obviously its targeted but i havent stayed at starwood since July however for 4000 points i would book a room tonight if the rate is right.
