Stayatmarriott links to meetings and conferences

Just noticed that if you do a Google search on site:stayatmarriott.com, it returns with various meeting and conference announcements, along with their respective room discounts at the venue properties. Quite handy if you're planning on attending any of these meetings.

Because steve100 nicely consolidated so much information from this thread into his original post, I have deleted all of the subsequent posts. They had become redundant, containing nothing not in steve100's post. Special thanks to ntamayo for finding so many of the special sites listed above!

...and here's the methodology for sending e-mails:

The standard form to reach a GM at a Marriott property is [email protected], where xxxxx is the Marsha code;

for Renaissance, it's [email protected];

for Courtyard, it's [email protected].

MARSHA = Marriott's Automated Reservation System for Hotel Accommodations

The hotel's code is displayed when you select the link for that property on the Marriott website, i.e.
https://marriott.com/property/proper...rshaCode=SFOSR for Parc55.

"MARSHA" indices not contained on this URL, would it be correct to assume that the (alphabetic) "propertypage" equates to "MARSHA" (numeric) and in the case of the this property ALBNY would be the code to use?

http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/ALBNY

Will be traveling there w/a very late arrival - want to inform them in writing (confirming telephone call) inasmuch as this property sells out frequently in the summer and after a long drive I'd like to preclude (to the extent possible), being "walked."

The MARSHA code is alphabetic--ALBNY is correct. (You can also find the codes listed in the hardcopy pocket directory for each brand.)

Also, in case it matters, MARSHA codes come in two parts.

The first three letters indicate the city or metropolitan area, and the second two letters indicate the specific hotel within the area.

I tried this for the Renaissance in Tel Aviv and the email bounced back to me. I used [email protected]. Any ideas what I did wrong?

If I may be so bold, to ask that the MARSHA discussion be continued on it's own thread? This thread's purpose is to discuss Marriott Branded website URL's (addresses).

I do think that the MARSHA discussion is interesting and I am sure that other people would probably also find it worthwhile, so please start up a thread on it and let's continue talking about it there.
