ANOTHER BRAND: Marriott Enters JV with Lefay
Here we go again with Marriott, this time with a JV with the Leali family to bring Lefay Resorts into the Marriott portfolio as a dedicated luxury wellness offering. There are currently two properties in Lago di Garda and Dolomiti, Italy, with three in development in Tuscany, Southern Italy and Crans-Montana [Switerzland].
Marriott plans to integrate Lefay into the rewards program [most assuredly at astronomical points rates] as well as grow the brand globally.

Im assuming these are similar vibes to Miraval or am I missing the mark? I have no desire to pay for wellness resorts, but this still feels like a better gap for Marriott to fill than the endless all-inclusive additions Hyatt keeps piling on to its portfolio.
