Best CPP marriott

I present you this example in Augusta. Most of the area is still recovering from the hurricane and this is not Masters pricing.

Yes, that's a pretty good points to $$ equation...I expect hotel accommodation in the area is at a premium and probably almost non-existent between properties that have been knocked off-line and people needing temporary housing...I would be taking the points option for sure!

Yes it is a great cpp redemption. I must say I would hope a property in a disaster area would not engage in price gouging. $1122/night for a run of the mill Fairfield at least on the surface looks like price gouging to me. I think a reasonable compromise for a property in this situation would be to charge their full normal rack rate. This would enable the property to still generate good revenue and serve the community at the same time. Even better would be if the property charged their normal ADR for a busy night. Regardless, this isn't a cpp that is likely to be repeatable elsewhere under normal circumstances. Off SoapBox...

I've found values like this during "pressure points" in the calendar, but I also pulled a nice value for a 35k cert at the Montreal Airport Marriott.

That has become hard in recent years.
