Multiple rates for one corporate code?

Has anyone seen similar for a given code? A property has more than one rate available for given codes, and not much information available either on property or internally within corporate.
(apologies for posting twice, but not sure if it should belong in the property specific thread or if it should be more broadly for Marriott/corporate code discussion).

The really cheap one which only exists at certain properties and tends to be a significant discount off the BAR and non-variable no matter which date you pick is a negotiated fixed rate your company has with specific properties.
Most big companies will have these. Smaller companies wont because they dont have the volume and pull to work with hotels to negotiate highly discounted rates in exchange for providing a significant volume of business to the hotel.
Sometimes both rates show up at a property, sometimes only the negotiated one if there is one.

So in general, not a concern as long as you have access to the given corporate code? Planning to email them ahead anyways, but just double checking before booking.

Also, AAA has multiple rates. Here is an example with Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel:
AAA CAA Hot Deals:
Available to AAA members only, Limit two rooms per AAA member, Valid Membership ID required at check-in, Rates are per room, per night, based upon availability, Not applicable to groups of 10 rooms or more, No limit to the number of nights booked with the exception of availability, Blackout dates and other restrictions may apply, Rate does not include tax.
Cancelling Your Reservation
You may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time (2 day[s] before arrival) Please note that we will assess a fee if you must cancel after this deadline.
AAA CAA Rate:
- Available to AAA and CAA members only.
- Limit of two rooms per member per night.
- Membership card required.

Both of the rates have the same terms, so just book with the cheaper rate.
The interesting thing is both breakfast rates also have 2 day cancellation but no restriction on number of rooms. But they aren't significantly cheaper than the "Deals and Packages" Stay for Breakfast rate.

You should be able to use both rates, agree with the explanation above.

My corporate rate (massive global firm) gives a fixed X% off BAR on any Marriott property worldwide for a base room. Certain properties extend this to cover more than just a base room (e.g. a discount on the club floor), but it isn't mandated. They typically say "X miles to the office and free wifi".
Then, in cities where we clearly have a lot of spend, a local property will give a much steeper discount, that is available globally anyway -> as we are mandated to use a global booking system, so if the property didn't load the rate to the standard corporate code then they would not be able to get people to use it (plus it would reduce its usefulness). This is often fairly generically described as "[Corporate] discount code" with few extra details, a "lazy" local property set-up
Finally, I have seen some properties that go even further than the pure code discount, and start to get (Hilton-like) city specific bonus rate discounts (often a few bonus points, particularly for stays over a certain number of nights). These may hint at treats within the description, but more likely in the rate rules it will talk about bonus points.... sometimes they are expired already months previously, but left in the system
So what does this mean:
1. Read the rate rules, they should be clear if there are any extra perks
2. No different rate rules, just presume it is a cash discount and there is no need to worry, just book the cheapest as the chances are none will include breakfast, if there are some freebies (does anyone pay for wifi anymore?) then it would be consistent unless specified in the rate rules.
