Different rates on different devices
👋🏼 curious if you guys have noticed this but went to book Le Meridien Dubai and it was showing different rates between my account and my wives.
It actually shows my wife (gold) a lower rate for the exact same stay as mine (platinum) - has anyone come across this before? I would like to book via my Bonvoy as I hold higher status but I obviously don’t want to pay more … M |
Have you checked that both are showing the same in terms of taxes included/excluded?

Maybe worth paying a bit extra? |
Yep - same app - same WIFI connection 🤷🏼♂️

In Dubai, you might do well to book whichever of your wives is offered the lower rate. Maybe help one of them, your Gold wife, get higher status?

This is usually the issue. One of you has the “taxes included” box ticked off.

Shocking rude and insensitive response from an 'evangelist', besides being totally unhelpful
As for "total unhelpfulness", it is a best practice for two travelling companions to both have Marriott BONV See, e.g. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marr...e-amenity.html . You are right, I did not see the disparate account display issue, but had already upvoted comments immediately following mine, including the one not to pay more. It is by sharing our thoughts that FlyerTalk works best. |
App and website display different rates (booking with points) after searching for properties in a certain city (in my case, London, April 25-30). The website displays the up to date prices, but the App gives higher prices for several of hotels that I searched. Once I get to check the details of the rates, the same number of points (Pointsavers offer) is displayed. It is annoying because one has to search with both website and App.
