No redemption rates available.

I made reservations at Residence Inn in Arizona. Tried to use my points. Error I received "No redemption rate available." This has never happened to me in the past. In addition, pay four days and receive one free using points didn't come up. I made my long term reservation but received no consideration for being a long time member. Am I doing something wrong?

what dates? marriott allows the hotel to make a certain # of rooms available for redemption so quite possibly the hotel sold out of rooms made available for redemption?

March. You are probably correct. Probably should have made my reservation long ago.

AuntKathy4 keep checking daily. Availability changes frequently and you may still be able to book your points stay. In the meantime, make sure you have a cancellable backup reservation. All of that said, a five day stay is less likely to get last minute availability. It doesn't hurt to try. Hope it works out for you.
