Considering the "Brilliant" cc

Hi everyone, I'm considering getting the Marriott "Brilliant" credit card, but wondering what more experienced travelers think of its "brilliance."

I think the free nights will offset the card's high fee, but are the Platinum elite status perks worth keeping up with another high-fee card? I'm using Marriotts a lot lately, and am likely to in the future. I'm looking more at making my stays more comfortable/stress-free rather than earning points for free nights (although I'd like to offset the fee with at least one or two free nights, whatever it takes to offset it).

If you have the Brilliant card, is it worth it to you?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

FYI - there's a lot of discussion in the existing specific thread for this card.

Eeekkk! Thank you for directing me to that thread. I should've checked to see if there was already a discussion before asking.
