Double charge

I stayed for 4 nights at Fairfield Inn & Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport/Research Triangle Park from Sep 7 to 11 and they charged me twice.
I received 2 receipts: one with the room charges plus some foods I bought from front desk and one only with room charges. There are even twice the points I was entitled on my Marriot Bonvoy (attached picture)...
An additional problem happens because my credit card is from overseas and the credit card company abuse on the exchange rate (not to mention the VAT that is charged when there are purchases overseas). Even when Marriot reimburse it, I will probably lose some money because credit card company won't use the same exchange rate.
I sent 3 reminders, no reply so far.
How long does the chain reply such issues? Are they going to cover all the loss I will have with ex-rate difference and taxes? not to mention the time I am spending to solve it.....

Depending on the "exchange rate" issues, I might go ahead and contest the 2nd charge with your credit card company. They should put a hold on the whole transaction and hopefully, will find in your favor allowing the full amount to be removed.

Usually, the exchange rate upcharge also gets reversed with refunds, at least in my experience.

With charge reversals, yes. Not with refunds a refund is a completely separate transaction and will incur the fees and rates in effect at the time of processing. I believe an already settled transaction can no longer be reversed by the merchant, so a refund must be initiated in those cases.

It is best and quicker to contact the property, not the "chain.". If you're contacting the chain, they're just going to reach out to the property.

BTW, your pictures did not attach. We're good without them. Definitely contact the Lurkers as requested and file a dispute with your payment card if that doesn't get you quick progress
