Different CC for payment

Hi there,

quick question to be on the safe side: if I book a non refundable stay with our company credit card, do I still get the points and the elite nights? Name on Company Card is different than the person who is actually staying at the hotel.

is there anything I have to have in mind when booking with a company CC to ensure I will get points and elite nights?

Thanks!

Generally speaking, yes, if you are the person staying at the hotel and the rate you booked was direct with Marriott.

It is also within the realm of possibility you will not, but this possibility is very small and not worth elaborating unless it becomes relevant. I'll wait for other responses and expand on this if needed.

I have seen people complain of issues depending on the country, never seen a comment about that not working in the US, but anything is possible since T&C say you need to stay and pay, if its not your card you didnt pay

Make certain your MR number is on he room at check-in. They won't care how or who pays it unless its direct billed to a master account.
