Marriott Credit card sign on promo requiring 6 nights stay!
How long this has been on?

If you only stay 2 nights, will they pro-rate it? Any hacks?

No prorating if this is the sort of sign-up+use bonus language you are seeing for card applications:

“Earn 75,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases within the first 6 months from account opening. Plus, earn 50,000 bonus points after you stay 6 eligible paid nights completed through 1/31/2024 at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy.”

Hack? As in avoiding the terms you agreed to?

I was recently booking a Marriott stay and was offered a slightly different offer. It was the points for a minimum spend and a $300 e gift card for being approved. So if you want a different offer, try a dummy booking and see whether you get something different. If you do, be sure to take screenshots just in case.

I think OP was interpreting it as meaning a 6 night stay all at once, but it sounds to me like it is stay a total of 6 nights during the period... either all at one time or spread over multiple stays.

Are you talking about Bank of America? Or you think Amex would be figured out soon by the CFPB as well?

How does this $300 e gift card work if you are staying in Canada or overseas?
Is 3% Bonvoy points better than 3% cashback (on another card)?

Is it better to use the e gift card before using the points?

Well, the 6 nights do not have to be from a single stay. You can have three 2-night stays, for example.

My interpretation of the OP was if they would get 16667 points for staying only 2 nights. To which I would say you would get 0.

For me, the best use is to get the 125K signup bonus, the annual Elite Night credits until I hit lifetime Platinum (one or two more years), and the annual 35K points. I won't be using it for anything else.

- Per the link below, I do not see the 125K signup bonus? I ended up in getting 75k + GC!
https://www.marriott.com/credit-cards.mi?
- What will take me to become Lifetime Plat from Lifetime Silver? Annual elite night credit is 15 for my card. It looks like I need 600 lifetime nights and 10 years as a Platinum Elite member. So 10yrs, plus additional 450 nights stay?
- Is " the annual 35K points" given in the form of certificate?
