Fairfield Inn and Suites Boone, NC [Master Thread]
Stay Report - 1/19 to 1/20
Location: The hotel is located on US 321 about 10 minutes southeast of Downtown Boone and Appalachian State University. It's in an area with a bunch of other hotels, box stores, chain restaurants etc. In fact, there's a Chik-Fil-A on the other side of the hotel parking lot.
Hotel: The hotel is typical of newer Fairfield Inns in that it's actually really nice. There's a large free parking lot, small indoor pool, big breakfast area, small sundry store and a small fitness center. Because it's a newer hotel the common areas are all well lit and in good repair.

Check In: I had been upgraded in advance to a suite and the agent who checked me in was really friendly and helpful. I also got a little goodie bag with bottled water and snacks. Just what one needs at 10 PM
Room: The room was very nice. I like the layout of these newer FI suites. There was a separate living room area with a large couch, TV and a desk plus a bedroom with its own TV and a large bathroom. My only complaint is the Wifi was spotty.

Snacks
Breakfast: Unlike many other FIs the hotel hasn't gone to just to go breakfast. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, waffle makers, pastries, bagels, fruit and yogurt.
This is a really good hotel, I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Boone.
