Spend $7,500 get 7,500 bonus points on Marriott Amex Cards
I noticed that my Marriott account shows that I can Earn 7,500 bonus points after I spend $7,500 or more in combined eligible purchases on your Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card or Marriott Bonvoy Business™ American Express® Card from 6/15/2022 through 8/15/2022.That’s in addition to the points I already earn for eligible purchases with your Card.
No enrollment required. Terms apply. (at the bottom of my post)
Anyone have options as to how good of a deal this is? If you have two cards (I have both luxury and the legacy original card) can you get 15,000 bonus points? After we stopped getting 3x points per dollar on the card I stopped putting unbonused spend on the card. But since then the points have become devalued more. I need to spend $6,000 at Equinox for personal training and can't think of other cards I can spend that much money on and get a better bonus other than a new card signup. I have about $1k in hotel bills for this time period.

Before dynamic pricing hit, 7500 points was cheapest possible redemption for 1 night, not counting pointsavers. We're talking side of the interstate Fairfields here. So those points are probably worth about $50-$100, which is not a great return for spending $7500.

That is about a 1% rebate, in devaluating Bonv∘y points.

i have an actual scenario I have on hold for a hotel that is 30,000 points per night but over/nearly $1,000 per night cash. And I’ve become points poor—I’ve used nearly all of my points.
