Myrtle Beach Four Points, SC [Master Thread]

This hotel seems to have very little information on Flyertalk. Can anyone provide personal experiences at this Four Points? Elite treatment? Dining seems to be at The Brine Bar, but there is minimal information on this as well.

Stayed there in March 2021.

The hotel itself is pretty nice definitely recently refurbished.

The room had a small balcony and some rooms would have a river view. It's definitely not near the ocean and the "action" which is either a good thing or bad thing depending on why you are in MYR.

Only thing of note is it's the only property that I was almost walked from. Arrived around 11pm and they said they were oversold and that CC declined so my reservation was canceled. I asked for the manager and said that I was entitled to the titanium walk benifits since I am positive my corporate CC didn't decline the charges... Magically they had a room for me.

Otherwise, I don't have much else to say about the place. The bar was busy each night till close.

I would stay there again for whatever that's worth.

If as a Titanium, your opinion means a lot to me. Any input on elite benefits and the dining at the hotel. Web site indicates breakfast, lunch and dinner available at The Brine Bar, but could find no information on it. Location works for me as I am not looking for the chaos at the beach properties which are packed tight together except for one or two.

Booking this for an upcoming work trip. Good rate for the area and based on these pics, it looks fine.

I stay in this hotel a few times a year. The hard product is decent enough but clearly needing some renovation. They seemed to be in the middle of slow rolling some renovations last week when I was there. As Titanium typically if available they will try to upgrade from the standard queen or king (parking lot view) to the deluxe (intracoastal waterway/pool view). I typically ask for breakfast on check-in usually receive breakfast and the points. The breakfast is adequate usually two hot meats, oatmeal, yogurt, biscuits w/gravy, and an assortment of breads and pastries as well as a waffle maker with beverages consisting of tea, coffee, and three juices. The in-hotel restaurant/bar is closed on Sundays and opens at 4 so no lunch option available. Typically this hotel is during the week a business hotel with a lot of contractors staying there. During the weekend it tends to see tourists and visiting softball teams. The bar for a 4P is pretty well stocked with usually local brews on taps, and a wide selection of liquors. For better food there is a restaurant next door, the Boathouse, that has pretty decent pub fare, but you may want to avoid that if your stay has a Wednesday as that is their trivia night.

I have stayed here many times over the past 4 years. Very nice lobby area with lots of seating. Tables with board games between main lobby area and restaurant/bar. Great view of intercoastal waterway (Waccamaw River) from lobby and dining area. Very nice pool adjacent to the water with lots of lounge chairs. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Rooms are in the process of getting needed refresh. Not much in the immediate area except the Boathouse Restaurant/Bar next door, which is excellent but VERY CROWDED on trivia night and weekends. There is an almost abandoned mall across the street and Medieval Times tourist site down the road. With that said, the 4 Pts is a short drive to lots of restaurants and not far from the beach.
