Staying here now and a fairly good experience if you need to be in the NW suburbs.
The hotel is very new, in the Metro Centre development with the Metro to downtown, lots of restaurants and shops walking distance, and free garage parking.
Friendly front desk check in. Late checkout proactively offered. We were given free drink vouchers to the lobby bar worth up to $15 each as a Platinum (which we redeemed as a credit towards cocktails, having to pay tax and tip).
We didn't receive any upgrade, but the standard room was large, over 450 square feet. Only issue was that the bathroom door didn't close fully and there was only one bath towel.
King room
The M Lounge is on the ground floor and has coffee, snacks, soda, and juice all day. In the morning, there is a solid hot breakfast buffet, with bacon, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, oatmeals, breads and pastries, fruit, and cereal.

The lobby is fairly large and has a lot of spaces you can sit and work in, and a Starbucks you can enter through the lobby or the street

Gym was decent and not too crowded. Unfortunately at 7:30am there were no towels and no one came to replace the dirtys while I was there.
