Mobile Checkout Missing??
Is it just me or did Bonvoy remove the checkout feature from their mobile app? Two separate properties so far and each one of them I had to checkout at the front desk. I looked all over on the app for the feature but I can't find it.

I noticed this as well. Had to send a chat message to the front desk which worked.

I booked two rooms at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront last weekend (one under a wedding reservation block, and the other was two one-night points redemptions; all three reservations combined with a connecting room). I was able to use the app to check out of the wedding block room; however, the points room was not. A quick phone call to Guest Services got me checked out and a bellhop sent to my room.

I noticed this too on my last stay. As they had already updated the TV in my room to the name of the next guest, and I was on a points stay, I just left.

I'm wondering if they are now just doing automatic checkout at checkout time unless you request late checkout. If they got your credit card on file already I guess it really doesn't matter to them.

That said, it might matter to the next guest. A hotel can't clean a room until it's vacant. If you want to help out a stranger who wants to check in early, letting the hotel know you're leaving is an easy way to (possible) make someone else's day a tiny bit nicer.
If you can't check out on the app, just pick up the in-room phone and dial "0" for the operator. Tell whoever answers that you're checking out. If no one answers immediately, hang up after 5 or 6 rings knowing that you made a good-faith effort and just leave.
[The above advice is from someone who worked in hotels in various positions, including the Front Desk.]

I was checked out "early"
Despite requesting and re-confirming a 4pm (Titanium) checkout, a CY where I was staying a week or two ago checked me out shortly after noon. When heading out I stopped to ask why I couldn't check out on the mobile app and they had already done so. At least they successfully had my key cards work through the late checkout this time around.

Off Topic App Question
The app no longer stores my credit card information. Has anyone had the same issue? I have to re-enter the credit card each time I book a reservation and the app does not save the CC information.
