Booked Qantas for a return to Mel in September if they fly and if they allow visitors without long quarantines
I expect to be vaccinated before that and have a Covid text prior to departure.I'm loyal to the Grand Hyatt but would certainly try them out to see how they compare

You are one optimistic rogue, unless youve got the right passport - fingers crossed for you!

Personally cant wait to stay at the new W Melbourne when we are allowed back in. I suspect we will be waiting for the Aussies to be vaccinated first though, so the fact Im vaccinated might not help much.

Haha good point. Not sure about Electric and when I google'd nothing comes up. Modern is fusion. Here are few images on modern/fusion modern australian cuisine - Google Search

Ah! You are absolutely correct. I just went back to W MEL website and saw it states ECLECTIC. My bad, sorry.

Thanks to
DELee also for questioning the cuisine

Since we recently celebrated Australia Day, just wondered if Modern Australian Cuisine included lamingtons... Thanks for the search link.

Also was curious about Curious - will be interested to see if their bespoke cocktails list includes anything current....

I'm pretty sure Modern Australian cuisine will be closer to western food with some Australian modifications.
