The Vista Tower development has a new name. The residences open this month, and the hotel is expected to open Q3 2021.

Any updates on the opening date? I thought there was talk of a July opening, but now I don't see any booking availability for any month this year.

Opening delayed to 2022?

Such a gorgeous building with stunning interiors for the apartments (sure the hotel will be excellent too). Shame that it will probably be delayed.

I walked by the property a couple of weeks ago. As far as I could tell, the interior portion of the lobby was still a complete construction zone with very few, if any, furnishings. There's no telling what state the rooms are in. A 2022 opening seems much more realistic.

St. Regis Residences here are being sold at pretty high prices by Chicago standards. 71st-floor condo just entered contract with a list price of $18.5 million. Not sure if the outside closing date for these condos is public but, if the condo opening is any indication of the hotel opening, this property is pretty behind schedule.

The website now says opening in March 2022. Cutting it close for me!
