Marriott Guaranteed Room Type
If you book a room that includes a balcony but is not available at check in is that part of "Guaranteed Room Type" for Platinum Members? Terms and Conditions don't address this. The listing does not state it's a balcony room but is listed under "Room Features". This is not a uncommon way Marriott shows which rooms have balconies. I have often found rooms with a balcony are often not mentioned in the listing title but under room features. Thank you.

There is no guaranteed room type that I know of. There is a bed type guarantee you can call on. If you get a room in a lesser category then they owe you the difference. The Ultimate Reservation Guarantee does not cover this AFAIK.
