Marriott Titanium can match AA or UA or ?

just saw a thread saying that HYATT GLOBALIST can get AA platinum

Titanium gets you UA Silver.

It actually got me an upgrade to UA F. Once. Back when Marriott PP matched to UA Gold.

Flying out of CLT, with a dearth of UA flights, and therefore few elite level members, the Silver status through Marriott got me upgrades to F on three of four flights in the last eight or nine months. That's a much higher percentage than I have received as a Delta Gold (or Delta Platinum since December, but there have been few upgrade opportunities during that time).

I got upgraded lax-ord on a redeye last week with my free silver from Marriott.
Unfortunately I was only flying the redeye bc my noon flight from psp was cancelled.

You had to migrate from PSP (Palm Springs) to LAX? That's a heck of a terminal change. How did they get you to LAX?
