Compare rates feature
I am sure I just missed this and if so my apologies. Just searching for a reservation in December, and got the option to compare up to 5 rates! Its not quite as neat as the old SPG, but gives a pull down menu on the screen. Big improvement.

In "Rates & Points", you can select and compare up to 5 rates.

Maybe meaning all customers get the one old and only Marriott employees get the new one?

No luck for me either. Can still only select one rate. As some other poster have noted my rate selection box has the header "Special Rates" and points is a separate checkbox rather than a "Rates & Points" combined pulldown menu. Sure would be nice to be able to compare rates with a single search. Hopefully Marriott IT rolls this enhanced feature out to everybody.

I had a new version of the search function appear once, either yesterday or today. Threw me for a minute because the check box for "Use Points" was not there.
IIRC, could multi-select rates in the drop down, including regular and points. I think it matched what Lurker posted.
Haven't seen it come back after the one time.
