But given all the changes that have occured over the last year, who knows if Marriott Bonvoy has gone with the SPG route of having night limits for single stays. So clarification would be nice.

I just started a 63 night stay at one of the Dubai properties. I recall that in the good old days of Starwood, there was. 90 day max stay for points/stays credit. I have search on Marriott and also this forum but cannot find any such restrictions on Bonvoy. Will I be ok on this stay or shall I split it?
Historically (i.e. before the Great Merger) Marriott had no limits on length of stays for benefits and points/stay earnings. There have been folks that posted about having single stays for more than a year at a time with no issues.

There is no longer a 90-night cap on earning points; it is up to the discretion of the hotel to specify if Long-Term Stays are eligible
