Osaka- St Regis or Ritz Carlton?

Planning a two night stay in Osaka later this year and debating between these two properties. I’ve never stay at any SR or RCs before so it will be a first. At the time of stay I will be Bonvoy Platinum elite.

Would really like to hear your experiences at these two locations and your recommendations. I will also be traveling with a 1 year old so info on room layout and size is appreciated.

I know what I would do. Return to Marriott Miyako. Because a five day stay here two years ago had me convinced this must be the nicest plain old Marriott on the planet. Placed in a suite on 57th of 58 floors. Superb lounge offerings with fantastic staff on top floor.

Hey!
Where did you end up staying? I have the same question (ritz carlton osaka vs st regis osaka) for a stay in May this year. Prices are roughly the same.
Thanks!

I haven't tried the St Regis in Osaka, but I had stayed at the Ritz Osaka twice now. The club lounge is one of the best lounges that I been to, worth it if you are considering getting the club level rooms
