I am also registered for the double take promo but can anyone offer some clarification on my targeted bonus? It states that I earn double points on all stays of two or more nights starting with my second stay. A stay is defined as consecutive nights at the same hotel, but does the first stay have to be two or more nights also or can it be a one night?

Good question! I think it must be two stays! To be honest, this promo really su... For me a stay is also an one night stay, to restrict it to two nights or more is ridiculous.

I'm checking my night counts. I'm presently at 30 nights. This will probably either put me close to or over 75 nights for the year...but the odds of getting put anywhere beyond first-tier elite anywhere else are pretty low, so I'll probably just stick with Marriott. This will at least make potentially plopping a few nights at a Fairmont this summer easier to consider, and it takes the edge off of a few such nights in two weeks.
