compensation points not posting

compensation points not posting
How long does it take for compensation points offered by a hotel to post? The points for the stay have posted but it has been almost a week and I haven't received the compensation points.

It is hard to say as there is a approval process at the hotel level. Your best best would be to follow up with whoever promised them. Chances are that they need to follow up with whoever approves gestures of good will onsite to get them pushed through.

I'm in a similar situation however I have it in writing from the GM so I'm not too worried about them posting the points to my account.
