Perhaps I never looked at the field because I normally book rooms for myself and the data auto-populates based on my profile, but as I was booking a room for a colleague, the following titles are available for selection, in the order of appearance:

There are any number of self-important people in the world.
While it will not matter with a hotel, people still pull this stuff with air tickets and then find the title concatenated in the wrong field on an e-ticket and encounter a well-deserved delay and hassle from outsourced ground staff for some odd carrier overseas. And imagine the indignity when the Princess can't raise the Viceroy to help out.

I've chosen fanciful titles for myself a few times when using a booking engine that offers a list of them. Your list is longer than any I've seen, BTW. It never made a whit of difference in my experience.
